Hello all!
Boy, I need to create another blog challenge just to keep myself up on this thing! I would like to update you all (and myself too) on all the things we finally have planned for the wedding.
Derrick has sure been a trooper with making decisions with me. We all know I'm a little indecisive!
We picked our date, church, and reception hall and booked them!
We picked out our colors.
We have booked our caterer.
We have a preliminary guestlist.
I have found, purchased, and picked up my wedding dress along with my shoes and headpiece. YAY! :)
Kaylan and I have narrowed down some ideas for bridesmaids dresses.
We picked ring bearer and flowergirl shoes & outfits.
We have picked our wedding party but only asked half of them to be a part of our special day.
I finished making our wedding thank yous yesterday :) HA!
We know how we're making our wedding invitations, but we are still waiting for one part to get here in the mail.
We have been in contact with a DJ and are just waiting to decide on that.
We have been in contact with a couple of photographers.
Things we need to do soon:
Get pictures taken for our Save the Dates and decide on a design.
Pick some dates for showers and bachelorette/bachelor parties. (Only since we have to plan to come back)
Quote some flower people.
Pick Derrick's wedding ring.
Decide on tux look.
Call about reception dessert :)
Start working on ceremony programs.
Pick hotels to block off rooms.
Find musicians for ceremony.
So, sorry for the super boring post! I kind of needed to do this for myself anyways to figure out what to do next!
I sure hope you're all having a great week! And, by all means, if you think of something I forgot on my list, TELL ME!! :)

Miles is 1
It's hard to believe this little man is 1 already!!
It seems like just yesterday we were holding him for the first time! Now he has all sorts of new tricks and is growing up too fast! He learned to wave a month ago, but just today he told my bye-bye for the first time! :)

Latest baby blankies
Last Saturday we had a work baby shower for two girls. Natasha and Gretchen are both having boys, so I whipped up a couple of baby blankies for them :)
Once again, it's been a long time since I've blogged! I still have plenty of things to share, but not enough time in the day! I feel like the last 2-3 weeks have been crazy! Derrick and I have been back to Iowa for a wedding, to Ohio for Labor Day, and endured crazy work schedules trying to get back to normal life again. I finally am all caught up on work and will hopefully be getting some wedding planning/booking done in the next couple of days! :)

Put-In-Bay, Ohio
Today we rode on Miller's Ferry over to Put-In-Bay, Ohio. Miles loved looking over the edge and feeling the wind in his hair!!

We had a busy day over there, and then we went back to Port Clinton for pizza and mini-golfing!
Here's a picture from yesterday when we were at Kelley's Island. It's a picture of Cedar Pointe across the lake in Sandusky! You may need to zoom in and look close in between the two black dots (boats)!!

Soorrrrrrrry!!!!
I have been such a bad blogger since my 30-day blog challenge got over! I will definitely catch you up soon (I know I said that about the bachelorette party too and that was a whole month ago!! Yikes!) qqwqwwq`sa`QZAQZA (<---- that is from Miles :) He wanted to tell you about his day too.
Today we loaded up in Kaylan and TJ's new van with Mom and Scott and headed to Port Clinton, Ohio. When we got here, we unpacked at the hotel and headed to one of the beaches on Lake Erie. Then we went and ate at a local restaurant called Dock's Beachhouse Bar & Grill. It was delic! We'll be here for the next 2 days, and then we're heading back to Indiana Sunday morning.
As I was saying before, I have lots to catch you up on. Our friends, Jen & Curt Booth, got married this last weekend! I will have to post about that and update with some pictures too.
Have a good Labor Day weekend and stay tuned!

Indiana State Fair
We went to the Indiana State Fair tonight with the McCords! It was a good time. We had suspicions that it was free admission night at the fair but thought it was probably too good to be true since it wasn't advertised. Luckily it really was! And we parked inside the fair for free too! Saved a whole $21!! Don't worry, we spent it on the food. We didn't really see too much or go in many buildings, but we ate a lot of good food! I had a sno-cone, cotton candy, fresh lemonade, and a blooming onion! Derrick shared all those with me and had a steak on a stick and fries. We also got to try Kaylan and TJ's funnel cake and chips (like Chip's chips) :) yum!!! Now I'm good for another year again! I sure wish we could have made it to the Iowa State Fair this year too!!
